Leigh Town Hall
Leigh Town Hall The building on the right of the square which was built between 1904 and 1907. If you look up above the main entrance you will see the Leigh Coat of Arms and motto carved into the stone work. In the middle of the square is an 'obelisk' or a monument, the top of which dates from 1859. It is thought that the base of the obelisk is much older and it is believed to be part of the town's original market cross from which public notices were issued.
