Comments: Dave - Hope you can help me with a project I am working on. I want to create a montage set of framed photographs of Leigh. I will print them, mount them and frame them myself but need help in obtaining the "electronic" photographs to start with. In short - I need some pictures of Leigh which can be EMailed to me - something which will print out at at decent resolution. The final result will be around 6 pictures,scaled to around 3" x 2", converted to black and white, mounted in a multi-aperture mount. and framed for hanging on the wall - but this depends on what I have to work with. As I said - I have no raw materials - photographs - at all and wondered whether you could help. This is definitely non-commercial, I want to create the montage for a friend at work - a birthday present. I just want to present her with something which captures the sights of Leigh - nothing too arty. Comments: Glad to find your site Dave. I always am checking on Leigh Lancs.sites because that is where my paternal grandparents both lived before they came to the US in 1910. In fact my ancestor William Hodgson ran a "Draper shop on Market street (#29) for several generations. I have some old pictures of that location and a few others from old family photo albums. My grt grandfather Wm. Hodgson came to a tragic end on 13 Sep 1889. I have the news account. His death made all the papers at that time. The other side of my fathers ancestry were also from Leigh. My grt grandfather Esau Wilkinson ran a photography studio at Gordon Street in Leigh. I have a few pictures but actually know very little about him. I would very much like to find someone in that vicinity who was interested to share and do some local research for me. I think I have also seen your name on the Lancs Gen Rootsweb site. Comments: I have 2 cats and i want chipmunks, i was going to keep them in a large shed, inside a large mesh cage. I was going to make sure they had no contact with the wood so they couldn't escape, and put in loads of branches and ropes across for them to run around. Also nesting boxes. I was going to keep 2 females because some males get territorial. Do you think this plan would work? I can't keep them in my room because it is too small and the cage wouldn't be big enough for them to have exercise. I absaloutely love animals and i would love to watch tehm running around. My Mum gets annoyed when i stay in the pet shop watching them for hours on end. I am 12 years old and i understand how to look after them from reading all my books. Please can you give me some advice on where i would get my mesh cage from? And can i use branches from my garden if i make sure they are clean and free from bugs before putting them in the cage?
